PSB Producción Vegetal started its business in 1989, when the Buffat family settled in the Region of Murcia, in the South-East of Spain, to grow early stone fruit.
Today we have 350 ha located in Sierra Espuña, Murcia, of which about 35 ha are equipped with hail and wind protection netting. We produce about 4,500 tons of apricots, nectarines, peaches and plums per year.
Our philosophy
Our philosophy is based on modern agriculture techniques, together with good understanding of the needs and demands of European consumers and our specialization and expertise in stone fruit.
Our production benefits from the innovations our own company develops, thus offering a wide range of new stone fruit varieties, which are very demanded by the European distributors.

Quality
We produce our fruit while meeting the requirements of our clients. Every stage of the process, from production to commercialization, is controlled by our technical and commercial team.
In order to achieve the best quality of fruit, we use 6-kilo plastic boxes to harvest, which are washed and dried before and after each use. We also use hail and wind protection netting to ensure top quality, with 35 of our hectares currently being protected with such netting.

Sustainability and environment
Sustainability and the environment are also a priority for our company. We have implemented a business policy that takes into account both the environment and the consumer.
Therefore, the pollination of our apricot trees with bees contributes to our environmental respect policy. Additionally, we have solar panels that ensure more than 60% of our annual electricity consumption.
